Debut Album "Sweet Dreams" by: sameasme (Feature/Interview)
What is the most important thing you want your fans to know about you?
I am a singer, songwriter, rapper, producer and advocate. Everything you see is all me, I write, record, produce all my music and designed my entire merch line, which is available now on my website. I have been working in the music industry for over ten years now, so I do not take any fans or supporter for granted. My debut Album “Sweet Dreams” was just released.
What is your recording process like for this Album?
I created all the demos in my Toronto apartment and then went into the studio to create the album, when the album was ready to go the Pandemic hit, which completely changed my life, going on to have toughest years of my life, one reason being the loss of my father. I have been sitting on this for a while and I felt that it was finally the right time to release the album, which I dedicate to my Dad.
What do you want your audience to feel when they listen to your music?
We all go through a wide variety of emotions and that is the ride that the album takes you on. Whether you feel like laughing, partying, crying, letting your anger out or contemplating what life is all about, there is a song on the album for you.
How would you describe your genre and sound?
Hip hop, Pop & R&B. I am influence by Nicki Minaj, Kanye West, Timbaland, Missy Elliot and Outkast to name a few.
What are your goals and aspirations for 2023?
