Anna Goldsmith: "Go" (Feature/Interview)
What is the most important thing you want your fans to know about you?
I want my fans to know that I write from my heart because I care about people. I want all people to be treated with respect and kindness, and I truly believe that good will always win.
What is your recording process like for this song?
I worked with producer Jan Jansen from The Netherlands who composed the track for Go. They sent me the music and then I started writing the lyrics. I brainstormed some ideas and the song grew from there. I shared the lyrics with Jan, and then I recorded the vocals with Daryl at Mix11 Studios in Barrie, Ontario. Once I had the vocals down, Jan created the mix.
What do you want your audience to feel when they listen to your music?
When my audience listens to my music, I want them to feel uplifted, energized, and to feel free to be themselves.
How would you describe your genre and sound?
My sound is pop-punk-rock. The vocals in my songs are powerful, and I love heavy guitar and drums. It's the kind of sound that is amazing cranked up high in the car!
What are your goals and aspirations for 2023?
In 2023 I am working on my songwriting and live performances. I love connecting with my audience and meeting new people, and having more people hear my positive and empowering messages.
